How do you format a displayed expression when it is within a marginal note? Or is it considered embedded regardless of appearance? Marginal note brailled beginning in cell 7 and runover in cell 5:

*1. Theoretical Probability: the Theoretical Probability of an event A occurring is defined as follows:
P(A) = The number of favorable outcomes
The total number of possible outcomes

NOTE: Our example should show the numerator and denominator aligned, but I can't get it to do that in this page.

Since your marginal note is essentially an indented paragraph, I would show the displayed expression indented 2 cells to the right of the runover margin, just as you would with a normal paragraph. Your displayed expression would start in cell 7 and runover in cell 9.
