Hi, I'm transcribing a knitting pattern and it frequently uses 1-into-3 inc, 5-into-1 dec, etc.
I'm not sure I'm interpreting 12.3c correctly. Can I use the "in" contraction without a letter sign before it as follows? #a-9to-#c 9c
    Thanks, Greta
