    Hi,
    This is a literary book
When a print page has 3 asterisks at the end of the page, indicating to the sighted reader that there is a blank line before the next paragraph begins, how is this handled in Braille?
Is there just a blank line left, or are the asterisks inserted in the Braille transcription.
I have attached a copy of a page like the one in the question.
    Thank you,
    Mary

For a literary book, please refer to EBAE, Appendix A. Use three asterisks, with spaces in between them, and centered on the braille line.

I didn't mention that throughout the book when there is a blank line between paragraphs, there are no asterisks in print. This only occurs this one time and only when it is at the end of the print page. Since this is not consistently used in this book to indicate a blank line, we felt it was more for the visual reader and would not affect the braille reader. EBAE seems to be referring to the consistant use of asterisks (or other symbols) to indicate a blank line, it does not address the single occurance at the end of a print page to indicate a blank line to the visual reader.
    Thank you for your assistance.
