    In the process of purchasing a new laptop and am discovering that most of them do not have the capability of cording in order to direct input braille. I have found one; a Hewlett Packard which still has that capability. Would appreciate any suggstions on other laptops and if others are having this same difficulty.

    I add a USB keyboard (Microsoft comfort 4000) with the MS drivers. You may need to call HP or other supplier sales support and ask if they can guarantee nth key rollover for their keyboard.

    Anyone else have a solution?

    Most Dells work as well. The best way to determine on a Demo Computer in a Store is to find yourself in "any" dialogue box and using the home row keys of "fdsjkl" press them down all at once and if you see all of them then you know you are good for braille.
