I just realized that the arrows in Chemistry code and Nemeth are different. In example 2 below, should the arrow be dots 4-5-6, 2-5, 1-3-5, 1-2-4-5-6?
How about example 1? In “Braille Code for Chemical Notation 1997”, it states the Jagged, horizontal is dots 5, 2-6, 3-5, 2-6, 3-5, but it did not say anything about the jagged arrow. Should the Nemeth code dots 1-2-4-6, 3-5, 2-5, 2-6, 1-3-5 be used? Or something like 4-5-6, 5, 2-6, 3-5, 2-6, 3-5, 1-3-5?

The Nemeth code is based primarily on the presentation, appearance, or notation of the mathematics, in contrast to semantics. As Dr. Nemeth has written,
A Nemeth Code transcriber need not be proficient in mathematics; all that is required is to look up the symbols and follow the rules. I’ve consulted a Chemistry Specialist about this and we have need more information. Could you provide a copy of this material so that we can look at the page? Was it made up by a teacher or part of published material?

Any arrows in Chemistry that are not listed in section 3 of the Chemistry Code must be transcribed as in Nemeth Code. If you look at Rule XXI–Arrows (Nemeth Code), the construction of a wavy arrow shaft is shown. Your arrow would have a normal right pointing arrowhead.

If length is significant, you may extend the shaft length by repeating the arrow-shaft symbol a suitable number of times.
