Is it true that the new tactile guidelines will require spaces between the ranges in histograms? And we will no longer be able to use spur wheels for curved lines?
I’m taking the liberty of posting a reply here, since it relates to tactile graphics.
The proposed tactile guidelines state under the heading histograms, that “no space must be left between adjacent bars, as the data are continuous”. The use of spur wheels is in no way discouraged. Hope this clarifies this misinformation about tactile guidelines!!
