Does the closing italic typeform indicator go before the closing parenthesis or after it?
If it goes before the closing parenthesis then is the closing italic typeform indicator up against the closing parentheses?Before parenthesis: (see ,’. Skyplane #5 .,’)
or
After parenthesis: (see ,’. Skyplane #5) .,’
Thank youThis situation does not appear to be covered in the rules dealing with typeform indicators. If the whole expression in parentheses is of a different typeform, you would enclose the parenthesis mark within the typeform indicators. The part of the rule that confuses us on this is that a typeform indicator is supposed to be preceded and followed by a space. When only the ending word(s) are emphasized, my advisors suggest that the indicator should be followed unspaced by the closing parenthesis.
