Here is a new one! Attached is a page from a pre-calculus book I am working on. Numbers 125-128: Lagrange multiplier. I know what the symbol is called but I cannot find a braille equivalent for it. Any ideas?
Hi, as a former math teacher/major, it appears they are just using the Greek letter lambda to stand for the Lagrange multiplier. I believe the Greek letter lambda in braille is just dots 123 (a lower case l) with dots 46 in front to indicate that it’s a greek letter. But I better let the moderator confirm if I’m right here.
