Quotations and Italicized text

Hello Cindi

Please refer to the attachment. I have 2 quote materials that used both quotations and italicized text:

“Esta decidido. … “

and

“A ellos, …”

My question is: could I just use the quotations and ignore the special type face (italic) or have to use both as in print?

See Braille Formats 2016, Section 5.3.10. You may ignore font attributes used on quoted material within quotation marks.
