I don't see any examples in MBC of voltas in vocal music. I'm wondering about best practices for the lyrics when there are multiple endings:
- If the lyrics are the same for both endings, is it appropriate to write them once and put both endings in the music line (same parallel)?
- If the lyrics are brailled for both endings (e.g. if the answer to #1 is no or if the lyrics are different in each ending), is there an ideal way to set up the parallels? For example, I'm doing "Good Morning, Baltimore" from Hairspray and the lyrics in question are "Baltimore and 1) me. [print repeat] 2) me. I know..." Is it better to start each ending in a new parallel or is it clear enough starting the second one in a new parallel?
