Regarding displayed paragraphs: If I have a <b><i><u>multiple</u></i></b> blocked paragraphs that are displayed in print, do I change them to list and display them or not?

This is where the confusion is. B.F.9.2.2.e says, “<b><i><u>Multiple displayed sentences</u></i></b> are treated as a list beginning at the adjusted left margin; e.g., if the adjusted left margin is 5, displayed <b><i><u>sentences</u></i></b> would be placed with margins 5-7.”

I understand the above to literally mean <i>sentences</i> <b><u>and not</u></b> <i>paragraphs</i>. However, it was brought to my attention that it may also apply to paragraphs.

So, for example, if print has a 1-1 blocked paragraph, then 4 displayed blocked paragraphs after it, should it be formatted:

1-1, then 3-3, space, 3-3, space, etc.

<b><i><u>or </u></i></b>

1-1, then 3-5, no space, 3-5, etc.
