We had a question come up today regarding Braille guidewords and spacing. In BF 21.3.2, no blank lines are required to appear before or after a Braille guideword. But there is confusion about how these guidewords are placed and the preceding text in a double-spaced document. If a document is double-spaced and the last line of text ends on line 24 before the Braille guidewords, which always go on line 25. Should the text on line 24 be moved to the beginning of the next Braille page so there is a blank line before the guidewords? Some feel it is not required, as guidewords should be the only text on line 25, and others feel that a blank line must precede the guidewords because a blank line is required between each line of text.
