Formatting DNA in a Chemistry Test

The question has been posed from one of our transcribers. In a chemistry test, how would you format DNA? Would you use cap D cap N cap A or would you use double cap DNA?

Because it is an abbreviation relating to chemical terms each letter of the abbreviation would be single capped.
