box lines on special symbols page

BF 2011 says in 7.1.4 that box lines need to be on the special symbols page. Is this new? Or do we only list them when there are nested boxes? Should we explain that they go across the width of a page?

I believe this is new. As with ALL special symbols, list only the ones that you use. If there are no nested boxes, don’t list those. Just list the symbols you used, which would be opening and closing.
