Formats does not directly address this.  My suggestion would be to make your identifier say something like: “Print shows 4 photographs: Cabot Tower, Signal Hill, St. John’s; hand-made moccasins from Hopedale; painted mailbox; …”

By adding in the the number of photos there is no confusion about how many separate photos there are.
