When teaching decimals and percents, most textbooks have examples where they show little arrows under each digit of a number to indicate that the decimal place is moved two places left or two places right.

It looks a bit like this, with the left arrows under the digits 5 and 6. (JPG also attached)

    56% = 56% = 0.56

How do I represent these little jump arrows?
    Thanks!

I have always drawn these little arrows, leaving extra space between the numbers where the arrows are inserted. It is best not to draw curved arrows.
