Hello, Should the th contraction be used in Beethoven?

I know it was in EBAE, and I can't find anything in UEB that would change that. However, Duxbury uncontracts it in UEB, and I believe the t and h are pronounced in different syllables in German, so I'm second guessing myself.

The context is an English-language theater program.

    Thanks! Greta

Consensus among the committee is that yes, you can use the 'th' in Beethoven.  There are no rules prohibiting it.
