I recently asked a question about headings following guides words on line 25 (June 11, 2026), and whether or not line 1 needed to be blank on the following page.

The reply I received on June 16 reads:

“Guide works, like running heads, are anchored text. They do not affect the formatting of the surrounding braille and are ignored when determining blank lines on the following braille page.”

Does this same principle apply to sequentially numbered table continuation indications also?

Correct. Table continuation indicators in the footer position do not affect the formatting of the surrounding braille in the same manner as guide words.
