Yes. Like a word-sign expression, the following note requires an octave mark, and the position sign must be followed by dot 3 if the succeeding cell contains dot 1, 2 or 3.
Thank you for your quick response! I thought it would be treated as a word sign expression, given the (345) character, yet the positions are not included in Table 18 (b) and (c). I also take this to mean that a dot 3 will not be needed between this notation and another word sign expression.
