Hello. A friend of mine has asked if there is a special symbol for “function” which is shown as an italicized “f” on the worksheet she is brailling. I have searched and cannot find anything other than to use the italicized “f” in braille also. Am I missing something? I do not have the actual page or I would attach it here.

I don’t think I can answer without seeing the print. The picture I build in my head may not at all be what you are describing.

This “f” does not need to be italicized. It is treated like italicized variables — no emphasis.
