This is my first time using the forum so lmk if this isn’t the best place to post this question! I’m transcribing a small Benchmark book and am not sure where the best placement for the grade level information is. I’ve attached two photos showing the front cover and the grade level info on the inside. 2.3.4g says to include the info as part of the title if it’s “clearly apparent.” Does this qualify as “clearly apparent”? If not, where in the braille transcription should it go?

You correctly quote BF 2.3.4.g, which states that the grade level is included when “clearly apparent”. In your situation, the fact that the grade level is indicated on the inside cover would be considered “clearly apparent”.
