    Please see the attached example. The statement presented in print shows no space between the numeral 1, a colon, and the word following it. Please advise whether to add a space after a colon in braille.

    We have not proceeded with this part of our transcription as we await feedback on our question about whether to add a space after a colon in information about using a graphing calculator. We look forward to your response.

    I'm sorry to be so late in responding. I was depending on email notification that there were questions and that has failed me.

    It would help to know what the text looks like when you select it on your calculator. However, this is not text the student would have to enter -- it's a selection. I think I would go with the most readable transcription, which would probably mean putting a space after the colon.
