I'm transcribing a precal/calculus book that's UEB w/Nemeth, and I've run into a symbol I've never seen before and am not sure how to transcribe.  These grouping symbols denote "the greatest integer function".  It looks like a connected double bracket.  I'm attaching a copy of the print page.  How should I do this symbol (Nemeth code)?

    Hi Carmen.

The pdf file is not opening for me. From your description, it might be the "barred brackets" depicted on page 123 of the Nemeth Code. I have attached that image. If this does not look like your brackets, can you try attaching your document again?

Thank you so much, Lindy.  That's what I needed!
