      Should IPA (abbreviation for isopropyl alcohol) be placed inside the  Nemeth switches for

      70% IPA embedded in text?

        The guidelines say that an abbreviation should be inside the switches with the math (numbers) to which the abbreviation applies. So yes, it would be inside the switches.
