    Hi Kyle!

I am working on a science book. I came across this statement: (J/(kg• °C)). I believe that the dot is a multiplication dot but I am not positive because it was done by someone else and they named it differently. Would you be able to tell me the correct term for it please? I want to put the correct name on the Special Symbols page.

    Thanks!

Is it actually called the "middle dot, times"?

I believe I found my answer. I am calling it the dot operator, times.

I went and watched your webinar and I think that is what this dot is called.

    Thanks!

I think you found a very good solution, Melissa. Thank you for sharing!
