number line with shaded circle

Ok, I know I have seen this somewhere but it has been awhile and I have forgotten.
I have number lines with shaded rays on them. There are closed circles and open circles on the line above the number. Do I put the character 1,2,3,4,6 for open circle above the number and a full cell for closed circle? I know I need to shade in the number line tactually where needed, just not sure about the circles.

Attached are the braille symbols used for creating a number line. The Guidelines for Mathematical Diagrams has an addendum that deals specifically with number lines.
