I'm brailling a book with a table of contents. When you divide chapters between volumes, what page number do you list in the table of contents of that volume: the page number listed in the front table of contents or the page number you are starting with in the volume? Thanks

You should list the page number you are starting with in that volume.  And insert (cont) after the entry.  So something like this:

    Chapter 3:  History (cont) ....... 4
