Good morning!

I am transcribing this 5th grade math book in Nemeth Code embedded within UEB Code.  I will use Nemeth code for the ruler graphics.   If you look at  the attachment, at the ruler, how would you recommend the word “inches” be transcribed? Contracted using the single word switch indicator or uncontracted? Thank you.

Thank you for the question and the print sample.

I would recommend uncontracting the word because it is part of the graphic and within the Nemeth Code indicators.
