How do you show the following problem in braille?

    -7+-9 = ?

This problem reads, negative seven plus negative nine equals ?
Do I use the dot 5 between the plus and the negative signs?
    Thanks!

Yes, use the dot 5 to indicate that it is not a plus/minus sign.
