I hope you are doing well.  I have a question about the attached file.

Do I need to put a transcriber’s note letting the reader know that Volume 1 will not contain all of the chapters of Section 1 as shown in print?

My suggestion for this is to put

Section 1 …

Chapters 1-12 …

Blank line

TN Volume 2 TN

Chapters 13-20

 

I know that it is not strictly following print, but it makes clear to the reader where the material can be found.
