Hello,
I recently posted a question in UEB. It was suggested it may be a formats question.
The question is whether to use a transcriber defined symbol or transcriber-assigned filled (solid) shape indicator for the bullet which does not have a braille equivalent. Under Formats 8.6.2, I am instructed to follow UEB 3.26 and use a transcriber-defined symbol for such. In technical I found the transcriber defined solid shape.
I assumed the bullet in question had no braille equivalent. Am I overthinking this and I should just be using the triangle shape indicator?
Guidance through these guidelines would be appreciated.

This is not a math book, so I think you are fine using the existing UEB solid triangle. If the book also contained triangles that were not used as bullets, then you would need to create a distinct right-pointing triangle symbol (transcriber-assigned filled shape).
