Hello,

I have a solid bullet that is triangular in shape and points to the right. Because of that, I would say there is no exact corresponding symbol in braille.

Under Formats 8.6.2, I am instructed to follow UEB 3.26 and use a transcriber-defined symbol, which would be dots 1, 456.

However, after giving it more thought, I began to view the bullet as a shape—more specifically, a filled (solid) shape. After reviewing UEB 11.7, Guidelines for Technical Material, Part 14, and the webinar on shapes, I noticed that there is a transcriber-assigned filled (solid) shape indicator.

My question is: Which approach would be more appropriate for representing this unusual bullet—the transcriber-defined symbol under UEB 3.26, or the transcriber-assigned filled shape indicator?

I have attached screenshots of the bullet and braille of both examples.

Thanks
