Welcome to the Computer-Assisted Transcription forum, Amy!
I understand you are having trouble getting your cursor to the very first cell in a line within Perky Duck.
Using arrow keys (instead of the mouse) to move the cursor within a Perky Duck file might be the answer.
A reminder that might also help is that Perky Duck files are made up of only spaces, characters, returns [line breaks], and page breaks (like BRF files). In other words, if you are finding yourself in cell 3 (or "column" 3 as our Duxbury programs like to say), it is likely because there are blank spaces in cells 2 and 1.
So, in order to get to cell 1, you might have to delete the blank spaces that are in cells 2 and 1.
Does that help? Or is the perky duck still being a bit of a pesky duck for you?
