Robert DietrichParticipant
Hello Kathleen:
I have included as much of this unusual piece as I have. It is in 3 parts, the first 2 parts being the composer and title, the third part is Etude 13. I will get back to you regarding your solutions as soon as I look at them myself. Thank you for your help. It is much appreciated.

Thank you for the information. The song identifies itself as a "Romani folk song." This appears to be some type of regional dialect that extends beyond Romania and is also not the official Romanian language identified in World Braille Usage. I identified the song as a Romani folk song in the transcription and used the "breve above following letter" symbol where it appeared. Under the circumstances, that was the best I could do.
Robert DietrichParticipantHello Anna:
You had asked to see the modified letters I was referring to. Here is a sample of an S and a C with the half-circle (breve) that I had asked about. At another point in the song, there is also a Z with the same mark above the letter. I used the UEB breve above following letter in each case. I can change it if you have another idea.

Robert DietrichParticipantHello Kathleen:
As a follow-up to this question, should I put [wordsign-du] in the music line to indicate the transition from S1 to duet? Or is the change in music heading (where the duet section is identified) adequate to signal the transition?
Also, where the the CHOIR section enters at M32, the S1 voice enters on a pick-up note (see attachment). So, should I use the du/wordsign-du identifier there along with the S1 identifiers because the parts are actually different?

Robert DietrichParticipantHello Kathleen:
Sorry about the technical difficulties. I think I have them figured out now.
And to my questions, is this what you had in mind for Question 5?
And is this correct for Question 8?
I have a couple more questions, but it looks like I have reached my attachment limit.
Again, I appreciate the help.

Sure enough, I have more questions.
First, should I format this exam in the ordinary way with an ordinary title page and other T and P Pages? Or should I leave an area for the student to write their name, student id# etc., on each page?
Second, I have no idea how to take a picture of my computer screen, so I cannot send you additional questions. Is there some way I can send you the Braille 2000 file? I don't need it proofread for content, except for one or two places. I need mostly to know if my formatting is correct. I have never done anything like this before, so I would appreciate the help.
Robert
Robert DietrichParticipantThanks much, Kathleen. I probably will have more questions. But I will see what I come up with first.
