It is important here to align the answers for each choice as they are in print, because they are meant to represent what is displayed in each quadrant of the graphic. They are not a table, and I don't think that enlarged braces are necessary either. The question could be placed in 1/5 with the letter for each answer choice in cell 3. Immediately following each lettered item, you could place the expressions in cell 5 over 2 lines maintaining the same alignment and position as shown in print. No blank lines would be required between any of the answer choices.
