After looking at it again, I suppose another option would be to treat this as a list.
EBAE does not have specific guidelines for how to handle displayed material or lists.
Keeping in mind that the Literary Lesson Manual is not an official code book, it does contain some suggestions.
Displayed material: Sect 15.5
Lists: Sect 18.3a.
Often times the transcriber needs to make a judgement call on the best way to present the material.
