Acronyms

    Hello,
    How would the word "to" be handled next to an acronym in the sentence fragments below?

    to UV (ultraviolet).
    6,,uv OR to ,,uv

    to LCD (least common denominator).
    6,,lcd OR to ,,lcd (There aren't any contractions but each letter represents a word.)

    Thanks for your question.
    EBAE Rule XIII.41 states: Braille the lower signs "to" "into" and "by" unspaced from the word, [u]abbreviation[/u], letter, or number which follows, ...
    These are abbreviations.
    The contraction for [u]to [/u]may be used and attached to the abbreviations.
