    Hi,

In a dedication like this where "to" is centered on the line above the person's name:

    To
    Donna

Should I sacrifice the format (with the ‘to’ on the line over the name) in order to contract “to”? 19.2b(5) says (talking about the title page) it's clearer not to contract "by" when lines are centered. Would that hold for this situation too?

In a dedication, you must follow print ... if the word To is centered over Donna, then in braille it would be done the same way and in that case to word cannot be contracted.
