Usually when I have separate parts listed in a solo book (e.g. A & B lines in the same piece) I have brailled them as separate pieces.  In this file, in songs like 4 and 5 I'm not sure what the best method would be.  Because the combined lines create chords, it seems like there would be a benefit to doing bar-over-bar and keeping the measures together... but then I can't do the chord labels at the same time.

With song 4, I was thinking I'd do each part separately but include the chord labels in both.  With 5, I was thinking of doing part A with the chord markings and then doing A, B, and C (sans chords) as bar-over-bar...  It may be just a matter of preference, but I'd love to hear what another transcriber would go for here and why.

    Hi Anna,

I'm curious as to why you think you couldn't do the chords with bar-over-bar format. That is how I would approach it. Take the guidance from the Section 29.17 in MBC2015. Chord symbols can easily go beneath the parallel.

    Hope that helps!

Oh, ok!  I was thinking that chords only work with a single line of music, like lead sheets.  Must have been too long since I've seen them in another context.
