Does the percent sign in the following terminate the numeric indicator? If not, then I would include a letter indicator following the slash, correct? (There are no spaces between the % the / and DEXTROSE.)
CLINIMIX 2.75%/DEXTROSE 5%
And, if I do need the letter indicator, what about if I end up dividing it between lines (after the slash)? If DEXTROSE 5% starts on the next line, would I really need a letter indicator?
This is indeed, a very interesting question.
According to EBAE Rule VII.28.a - the percent sign does terminates the number indicator. The effect of the number sign is not terminated by commas, colons, hyphens, fraction lines, decimals, or slashes. However, after a space or a dash, the number sign must be repeated.Depending on who you ask, you may find different answers about the letter sign after the slash. However,
after a great deal of discussion with a few other "experts" regarding a similar issue - The end decision was that the letter indicator is not needed.
Even if the percent sign was not there, the letter sign would still NOT be needed.

It sure seems like there's no good reason to include the letter indicator (as far as readability), but EBAE Rule VII.28.e.(3) shows this example: $2.29/gal. with a letter indicator included after the slash. Also, the Instruction Manual for Braille Transcribing, section 12.1d(3) shows this example: $20/per hour with a letter indicator included after the slash. Even though I don't think it's a rule, do you think the cap indicators are the justification for not including a letter indicator in my example?
