Please remind me about the punctuation for the Angstrom unit and the Greek letter used for ohm. I have never actually used these, and my original certification exercises tell me that they are abbreviations and, as such, must be punctuated in the literary mode. Not only does this look so wrong, but I seem to recall that there have been discussions about this over the years.

Are they indeed to be punctuated in literary mode?

    TIA bt

The Angstrom and Greek letter ohm are abbreviations and are spaced as abbreviations, but punctuated mathematically.
