In the attached document, would the Nemeth bold typeform indicator be used for any of the bold words; Exponents, base, exponent, power, even, positive, odd, or anything else?
I’m having difficulty understanding when words are considered mathematical expressions per §33b in the Nemeth Code as well as when words have or don’t have mathematical significance per §34. Are there any guidelines or determinants you can share to help me better identify when a bold word/phrase has mathematical significance? Thanks for your help!

Yes, I would use the Nemeth bold typeform indicator for these words to which attention is drawn in print. Please also refer to the posts below entitled "Font Attributes" that is dated Friday, October 5, 2012. It more fully explains how Braille Formats and Nemeth Code are applied in a Nemeth transcription.
