    Can the contraction for rejoice be used in the word rejoiceth?

    This really ought to have been posted to the UEB Forum...but I'll answer.

    No.  According to 10.9.2 you can only use shortforms in longer words when the word is listed in Appendix 1 or meets the criteria of 10.9.3 - and this one is not in the appendix and does not meet the criteria.
