Could you tell me if this is considered directions:
In 1 and 2, write two fractions that name each shaded part.
Even if what follows is not numbered questions with blanks/answers to be filled in.
And if it is considered directions would there be a blank line after the Cell 5 Heading “Do you know HOW?”See attached pdf (Guided Practice)

In Nemeth, directive text is formatted as instructions (5/3) if the instructions are followed by non-spatial itemized problems. (sec. 191) If what follows the text is not itemized problems, then the text is formatted as a paragraph (3/1) In your example, the instructions are followed by itemized problems.
