I am transcribing Calculus now and have come across the double struck capital R in a few of the exercises. Is there a specific symbol we should use in these cases? I did not see anything in The Nemeth Braille Code for Mathematics and Science Notation 1972 Revision.

Attached is a sample of the print page with this symbol.

    Shawn,

I would strongly recommend using the Nemeth Code script typeform for double-struck Rs, with a TN to explain the representation of print.

Please see page 7-11 (in Lesson 7) of the Provisional Nemeth Instruction Manual for further discussion of this approach to retaining print distinction.

    Thank you for the question!
