BF 1.6.5 requires transcribers to add “END OF VOLUME __”at the end of each volume, and “THE END” at the end of the final volume. The text of BF 1.6.5 does not mention TN indicators, and the examples do not show their usage.

How do these added End-of-Volume statements differ from the added Volume identifiers mentioned in an earlier post (citing BF 2.10.3b)?

This is an error in the pre-publication document. It will be fixed before final publication. End of Volume indicators should be enclosed in transcriber’s note indicators.
