epigraph page numbering

    BF 2011 says that epigraphs are text, not front matter. They should also carry a print page number if there is one. Suppose the table of contents is on page iii, an epigraph is on page iv, and other front matter follows on pages v, etc. Should the epigraph be pulled out of this order and placed at the beginning of the text? How to handle the page numbering and the pages listed on the title page?

    Follow BF2011 guidelines referring to keeping the material in page number order.
