font indicators

    The term below needs to be in italics. Is the abbreviation within the parentheses dealt with separately, or is it considered part of the phrase for the purposes of font indicators? In other words, would I have a double indicator at the beginning, a single indicator before "Designer" and a single indicator before AIFD or a double indicator at the beginning and a single indicator before AIFD?

    I believe this question can be better answered in Formats ... please repost there ... unless you are using UEB, then repost there. Off the top of my head, (as I am not at home with my materials and references at my fingertips) I would say the closing italics indicator would come after the opening parenthesis and before the abbreviation.
