I posted this in Formats and was suggested to post it here.
We are working on a teacher’s edition math book. Throughout the book, there are inconsistencies on some of the formatting. I have attached some examples. On some pages, items are bulleted when they are not on others. How do we trascribe these?
Although we generally like to keep things consistent in the braille format, we are also instructed to follow print. I think that in this situation, it would be best to follow print. Since this is a teacher’s edition, the teacher is quite likely a skilled braille reader. This would be a reference book for him/her, and something like bullets are not generally going to affect the content of the material.
