I am looking at 7.2.1e in format. It states that no blank line is to be left between a heading, figure number, source citation or directions and the top box line. In the example on page 7-11, a blank line is left after the directions before the box line. I started to report the inconsistency on the BANA website but want to be certain I am not reading something wrong here. The directions relate directly to the words that are in the box so why would a blank line be required here? Thanks so much. Cindy
